Volunteer Trail Day – October 15, 2016

Where: Moose Camp Trail – Toll Canyon
When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00am to 1:00pm

Moose Camp was constructed in summer of 2016 and needs some “TLC” to make it complete. Located in Toll Canyon, this 1-mile long hiking only trail is the latest addition to Basin’s trail network. Join Basin Recreation Trails and Open Space team and help put the finishing touches on this new hiking-only gem!

Event takes place on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Meet at the Gorgoza Park trailhead (3863 Kilby Road, Park City, 84098). Due to there being no parking on site, volunteers will be shuttled into Toll Canyon via Basin Recreation vans.

The team will be building stone steps, installing drainage, and improving trail sustainability. Be prepared to hike 3-6 miles, work in remote backcountry conditions, and spend the full 4 hours on site.

Please bring work gloves, sturdy closed-toed shoes, water & snacks, and weather appropriate layers (long work pants recommended). Lunch will be provided.

RSVP REQUIRED! Sign up HERE!
