Traffic Enforcement on Aspen Drive
I live on the lower part of Aspen Drive, and speeding is a huge problem especially cars coming down the hill. There aren’t any signs indicating that the speed limit is 25 like there is on Parkview and the overall neighborhood sign.
I walk every day with my dogs, and I have started avoiding walking between 8 to 9 AM and 5 to 6 PM. It just isn’t worth the anger I feel at inconsiderate people. There are cars going over 40 into the corner at the bottom of Aspen Drive. There are some respectful drivers, but I think it is because they live on Aspen Drive or one off it.
Is there a possibility of adding another sign near the entrance on Aspen Drive also.

it’ll take more than a sign to help Aspen Dr…..sorry to say…..can we get the stop sign back at the corner of Parkview & Crestview Dr…I know for a fact that this would solve the Parkview speeding problem…..but it’s just a blind uphill intersection so maybe 40 MPH is da right speed limit but I’m no expert

Lower Aspen Drive is certainly a hot spot for speeding. The Summit County Sheriff is aware and they try to have a more frequent presence there. I agree, just having signs won’t fix the problem. It takes community awareness and involvement, like this. Reminders to slow down on lower Aspen have been ordered and will be in place soon. Thank you for your comments.
