Have an Evacuation Plan
Park City Fire Department has created plans of actions to be taken in the case of an emergency that requires you to evacuate or shelter in place. There are separate plans for residents and for businesses. More information here.
Sign up for Reverse 911
A community-wide emergency may require the Summit County Dispatch Center to notify all Summit Park residence of important information or instructions. Their center implements a reverse 911 system which calls each house. If you do not have a conventional land line, the system has no way of contacting you. It is their recommendation that you register your cell phone, so you can effectively be updated and advised on what is happening in your neighborhood.
