Notice of 2018 SPHOA Annual Membership Meeting & General Election, and Call for Nominations
Do you care about the safety of our neighborhood and want to help build a more cohesive community within Summit Park? Get involved by joining the Summit Park Homeowners Association (HOA). It may not sound very glamorous, but our priority as a board is to be a resource for Summit Park residents, and our priorities are simple: safety and community.
Annual Membership Meeting and General Election Information
Notice is hereby given that the 2018 Annual Membership meeting and general election of the Summit Park Homeowners Association will be held November 6, 2018 at 7:00pm.
Ballots will be mailed 30 days in advance of the election and can be mailed in or voted in person. Summit Park HOA is a non-profit community association. Membership in the SPHOA is open to all Summit Park households and lot owners, whether you live here and rent, live here and own your home, or own a lot here and live elsewhere. The paid membership in each household or lot is entitled to cast one vote.
Call for Nominations
Paid members are eligible to serve on the Summit Park HOA Board. The Board is made up of 5 or more community members. We’ve had some recent attrition of Board members who moved away – your involvement is key! To become a board member, we ask you simply attend monthly board meetings as regularly as possible and potentially participate in at least one board committee (fire/safety, architectural review, traffic, etc.).
If you would like to put your name forward as a candidate, please send an email with a quick bio about yourself to summitparkutah@gmail.com. Deadline for nominations is Sept. 20, 2018.
Monthly Meetings
Whether you join the board or not, please know we host monthly HOA meetings that the community is welcome to join. The meetings take place the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm and are hosted at the Moose Cafe. We encourage you to get involved in your community as you can!
