No Worries Cafe & Grill Closing December 31, 2016
As huge fans of No Worries Cafe & Grill, we were very sad to learn that Nancy and Dante, the cafe’s owners, will be closing the doors as they were unable to reach a new lease agreement with the current landlord. Their last day serving delicious food will be December 31.
In a statement released by the owners, Dante said, “It’s difficult to have to close something we’ve worked so hard to build. But, we want to say thank you to our loyal customers for their 16 years of support. We’ve loved serving you, and we’re exploring other options to get back to doing what we love.”
Nancy added, “We have some exciting ideas for the future, and we are hopeful you’ll see us again soon.”
We are so grateful for the delicious food and community space that Dante and Nancy have provided the Summit Park neighborhood over the last 1.5+ decades. We will miss them, but hope to support their future endeavors.
We will do our best to keep everyone updated on the latest No Worries news. Please follow the Summit Park Facebook page to stay in-the-know. In the meantime, go visit them before the new year!

I feel it’s criminal that one of our few long running institutions in Summit Park was denied continued access to the space which has been a perfect ‘welcome home’ visage that always reminded me that I was no longer in the city upon coming home. No blatant icon imagery advertising some antiseptic franchise…. just a quiet but very popular mom & pop which we’ve always enjoyed. I for one am upset with the news and angry even without being aware of the details. Who ever owns the Sinclair building… I trust you will not even think of considering a Subway or other such eyesores. Keep in mind, many of us live here to escape such convenience. A very sad day.

Drove by the vacant building this morning on the way to work and it just makes me sad that the warm light of No Worries was dark and was not there to say ‘Good morning, sorry you can’t stop by today but we will be here next time you want to feel welcomed as a friend and neighbor by incredible waitstaff and equally incredible food.’ The glow of No Worries was truly one of the best reasons to live in SP. I’d love to know who owns the building.
Also I agree, the decorated tree rocks!
