SP Fire Station – Important Meeting

It has been brought to our attention that the future and the possible decommission of our neighborhood fire station is back on the table.

A request by the Fire Chief was sent out to supervisors asking their input on “what they would like done with the Summit Park Fire Station.” It has always been the intent of the HOA to encourage the PCFD to keep our fire station in a position of operational readiness. Changing it’s status could significantly affect our homeowners insurance rates. We encourage everyone to attend the upcoming Park City Fire Administrative Control Board meeting and, if given an opportunity, voice their opposition and recommendations. The meeting will take place Tuesday, Mar 4th at 6:30 at the FD head quarters, 736 Bitner road. All of the Control Board meetings are scheduled on the first Tuesday of each month.
