Prop 1 and Toll Canyon
I was wondering if anyone had additional information regarding Prop 1. Online I can find information that the funds for the proposition will be used at the Basin Rec Fieldhouse for a new “multi-use court”-aka basketball court, additional ice arena work, and additional trails improvements/access. Can anyone provide more information about the “trails” portion of this proposition (I’m looking for details regarding specific locations of improvements, types of improvements, etc.)? Also, does anyone have an accurate map of Toll Canyon open space? I’ve found 2 versions online, which contradict one another. Thanks!

I finally got in touch with someone at Basin Rec a couple weeks ago. They are proposing more trails in Toll Canyon for bikers, especially from Pinebrook to the upper SP trails with several new switchback trails. They also may include trail access near Kilby Rd. According to Basin Rec, Utah Open Space is working on a draft plan, which should be passed over to Basin Rec soon. A copy will be sent out to individuals who contributed funds for the land acquisition, but I’m unaware of how widely they will distribute it beyond that. I hope this helps some of you who were also wondering about the Prop. (and it still includes information listed above and the paved trails)
