COMMUNITY WEEKEND, June 13th – June 14th, 2015: Dumpster Days, Firewise Day, & FREE neighborhood lunch

COMMUNITY WEEKEND
June 13th – June 14th, 2015
The annual community weekend will be packed with events – Dumpster Days, Firewise Day, and a free neighborhood lunch.

DUMPSTER DAYS
June 13th – 14th, 8 am – 6 pm
Gate/Trailhead near the Fire Station on Crestview Drive
It’s Spring Cleaning time! This year we will have 9 trash dumpsters, 2 green debris dumpsters, 1 bin for recyclable plastic, paper, cans, etc., and 1 bin for recyclable metal. Check our website for more information on what can be dropped off at dumpster days.

In addition to dumpsters, we’ll also have the usual area where items that are still useful can be left and traded. This always turns out to be fun and sometimes you can leave with something worthwhile.

Membership must be up-to-date to utilize the dumpsters. If you haven’t paid yet and wish to, payment can be made on our via PayPal or by check/cash at the event.

Volunteers Needed
We need your help! Putting on Dumpster Days takes a lot of work and people. We need two volunteers for each time slot to check people in, collect dues, and direct people to the appropriate bins. Check out the volunteer page to sign up now!

FIREWISE DAY & NEIGHBORHOOD LUNCH
Saturday, June 13th, 12 – 2 pm
Take a break from all that Spring Cleaning to enjoy a FREE lunch with your neighbors! Meet Smokey the Bear, learn how to create defensible space around your home, and watch the home defense fire retardant demonstration.
